Buenos Aires, January 29 (NA) - Following the meeting with the Urban Passenger Motor Transport Chambers of AMBA and the decision to proceed with a comprehensive audit of the system, the Ministry of Economy's Secretariat of Transport will withhold economic subsidies from motor transport companies where irregularities have been detected. According to official sources informed to the Noticias Argentinas agency, this measure will be temporary until what happened is technically verified. This review will not be limited to specific cases of complaint, but will be extended systematically to the entire fleet. The Secretariat of Transport of the Ministry of Economy has instructed the Trust Funds Directorate to carry out an immediate comprehensive audit of the SUBE system and operational parameters, not only against the company under complaint, but against the entire transport system. The audit will be complemented by reports from Nación Servicios S.A. and the National Transportation Regulation Commission (CNRT), based on relevant information from the transportation system and on practical, on-site inspections that will be carried out in the bus units. The objective of the system study is to be able to implement corrections to avoid future irregularities. The measures, to be implemented immediately, are framed within the decision to advance with a comprehensive audit of the distribution of subsidies, expressed by the Infrastructure Coordinator Secretary, Carlos Frugoni, and the Transport Secretary, Fernando Herrmann, at the meeting they held with the Urban Passenger Motor Transport Chambers of AMBA last Monday. The main objective is to guarantee that the distribution of compensations is carried out in accordance with current regulations, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the allocation of public resources involved. This control measure, far from being isolated, constitutes the first step of a comprehensive audit that seeks to clean up the allocation of subsidies and guarantee that every peso invested by the State strictly complies with current regulations. The supervision strategy is deployed on three fundamental pillars to ensure the transparency of the system: SUBE System Inspection: The Trust Funds Directorate has been instructed to carry out a deep expert analysis on the operational parameters of the SUBE platform. Inter-institutional Validation: The process will count on the technical support and cross-reports of Nación Servicios S.A. and the National Transportation Regulation Commission (CNRT). On-site Verification: To transcend the coldness of digital data, practical and on-site inspections will be carried out directly in the transport units, verifying that the services declared coincide with the effective provision. The central purpose of this intervention is twofold: Guarantee Equity: Ensure that compensations are distributed with mathematical and legal accuracy, preventing fund diversion to non-provided or deficient services. Structural Correction: Design and implement adjustment mechanisms that prevent the repetition of these anomalies in the future, thus protecting public heritage and service efficiency for the user. This phase of subsidy withholding will remain in effect until the technical verifications are satisfactorily concluded, ratifying the commitment of the current management to transparency and administrative rigor in the area of infrastructure and transport.
